What is a process?

You must have heard people using the word “process“ too often.Examples: Cooking process, Design process, Sales process.

So what makes a process?

A process has few inputs, one or more outputs and sequence of steps to convert inputs to output.

Moreover a process also have a Work instruction or Operating procedure for training the new joiners about the process and a form to record the process/ product/Service parameters against the specified requirement for monitoring and measuring the process/product/service performance.
